Diane Busard

Board Member

Diane Busard has been a longtime fan of Tipping Point Theatre and is passionate about its mission and the value of bringing live theatre to the local community.

Joining the board in September 2026, Diane brings 34 years of corporate experience across a variety of roles. As the Director of Corporate Learning at Plastipak, Diane led a small team of creative learning developers. They were a bit of a rogue group with no real authority nor typical fit in the organizational structure. Their success or failure was dependent on influence, reputation, and collaboration with subject matter experts and senior leadership. And of course, delivering results.

Diane’s work was made possible by hundreds of subject matter experts who contributed their knowledge and expertise, as well as thousands of employees who committed to learning and applying new skills in their everyday work. She remains deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to those shared accomplishments.

Now retired, Diane continues to devote her time to nonprofit organizations, including A Farm Less Ordinary, Deo Gratias, Living & Learning Enrichment Center, and The Henry Ford’s Carver Carson Society. She is particularly interested in helping adults with special needs lead meaningful, safe, and fulfilling lives, especially as they navigate a future without their primary caregivers.

Diane and her husband, Tom, have lived in Novi for 28 years. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
