Office Hours begins its holiday run at Tipping Point Theatre on November 16th, 2017
Tickets for the professional production start at just $25
What do a lawyer, news reporter, and horse jockey have in common? Tipping Point Theatre’s latest professional production, Office Hours, is a whirlwind of characters all connected in the most unlikely ways. From typical office gossip to outrageous news stories, the show takes you on a journey of human experiences in the modern world. Tickets are on sale now at TippingPointTheatre.com and the Tipping Point box office (361 E. Cady Street, Downtown Northville).
Now in their 11th year of presenting live, professional theatre in Downtown Northville, Tipping Point Theatre will open Office Hours by Norm Foster on November 16th. This comedic adventure runs through December 23, 2017 with performances Thursdays through Sundays and select Wednesday matinees.
Norm Foster is a Canadian Playwright whose plays have become a Tipping Point staple. For those unfamiliar with his work, Foster believes his shows are “…about ordinary people just trying to get by in life.” He chooses to focus on uplifting stories instead of trying to teach any one particular lesson through his work. While his shows are mainly known for their comedic content, Foster always finds a way to imbue human truth into his plays.
“We’ve assembled a tremendous cast for this production, with a number of returning favorites and two actors making their Tipping Point debut,” said James R. Kuhl, Producing Artistic Director.
Office Hours is produced thanks to the generosity of Downtown Northville’s Kelly & Kelly, P.C.. As a non-profit professional theatre, Tipping Point hires over 90 Michigan artists each year, and receives support from patrons, donors, businesses and other organizations. They recently received grant funding from the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs and The Shubert Foundation.
Opening night is November 18th, with discounted preview performances Thursday, November 16th and Friday, November 17th. The curtain rises at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, with matinees at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Special Wednesday matinee performances are on November 29 and December 20 at 3 p.m.
Tipping Point Theatre is located at 361. E. Cady St. in Northville. Tickets are $30 to $46 for adults, $28 to $46 for senior citizens. Preview performances are $25 and include a talk back with Producing Artistic Director, James R. Kuhl and Director Beth Torrey.
