TPT takes on three apprentices each year to help bridge the gap of educational theatre to professional theatre. The program provides general experience in a professional setting and includes focused, hands-on experience in set build, stage management, and box office management. We offer daily opportunities to grow, collaborate, and be creative. Come work with theatre professionals, make new connections, and put your stamp on Tipping Point!

How long is the apprenticeship?
A full year, typically ending after the run of a show.
What are the start dates?
June 2018 and August 2018.
Is this a paid apprenticeship?
Yes! Apprentices are paid $275 a week.
Is housing available?
We cannot provide housing at this time.
How many hours a week?
This is a full-time position. The hours range from 40 to 80 hours a week, depending on what position you are working and current events at the theatre.
What's the structure?
Apprenticeships are based on three main areas of focus; stage management, set build, and box office management. Each apprentice rotates through these positions twice during their time at TPT. While these are the key areas offered, apprentices are given new projects and focuses based on availability and interest. Apprentices are also expected to help maintain general building upkeep and work very closely with our volunteers. This program is open to evolving and adjusting in order to help you make the most of your time.
