Tipping Point Theatre seeks 2012-2013 Apprentice.

Located in Northville the Tipping Point Theatre program is a one year apprenticeship for hard-working college graduates with a degree in Theatre or individuals seeking a degree in theatre related field. This is a great opportunity to gain real –world experience in a professional theatre, while working with directors, designers, stage managers, actors and a staff who work hard to create an amazing theatre experience.

This comprehensive program will allow you to jump start your career in a professional Equity theatre while working hands-on with seasoned professionals in arts management and production; gaining invaluable con­tacts while developing your resume.

Because of the integral role apprentice’s play within the TPT organization, apprenticeships are tailored to the indi­vidual strengths and interests with an emphasis on investing in the future of the apprentice.

Apprentices will work as Assistant Stage Managers, Light and Sound Board Operators, Box Office Staff, House Management, with professional design or performance opportunities

Apprentices are selected by application and interview, work a minimum of 40 hours per week and are paid a weekly stipend to defray living costs. Apprenticeships are  one year long and will begin in the summer of 2012.
